Amelia Tuttle, MS, LMFT
Amelia provides psychotherapy to couples, families, and adolescent girls. She has experience providing couple’s therapy using Gottman and Emotion-Focused techniques, co-parenting therapy for divorced parents and families, and collaborating with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She facilitates pre-marital counseling as a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator and is trained in Maternal Mental Health, working with women and perinatal mood disorders.
Amelia believes that we all have a story to tell, and our stories can affect our values and beliefs about the world. She feels very passionate about being able to witness and learn from the experiences of the people she encounters in therapy. Amelia offers a unique combination of compassion and positive regard that allows clients to feel comfortable and access their strengths to find solutions.
Amelia is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia in 2008 and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Purdue University in 2011.
Amelia is a Virginia native. She enjoys participating in her church community and is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the Georgia Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
