Elizabeth Carter, NCC, LAPC
Specializing in individual and group psychotherapy for adolescents and young adults
Elizabeth is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) by the state of Georgia. She finds passion in working with adolescents and young adults to provide guidance and support during life’s most difficult times. She offers a non-judgmental and safe place for clients struggling with a range of topics including: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, and life transitions. Elizabeth is also trained and certified in Love and Logic Parenting. This certification gives clients and parents the opportunity to build on their relationships and find peace within themselves and each other.
Elizabeth also find passion in sports counseling. During graduate school, she had the pleasure of working with athletes at the University of Mississippi and Moya Tennis Academy. While coaches help optimize an athlete's physical strength, she uses psychological principals to optimize their mental abilities to perform under the greatest of pressure.
All clients deserve a supportive space to explore issues and find solutions. Elizabeth aims to create safe relationship with clients to help achieve goals and find personal growth. She operates from a client-centered theoretical orientation but uses other evidence-based techniques to help clients gain knowledge and growth.
