Mitchell Mundy, Therapist Intern

Mitchell Mundy, Therapist Intern

Mitchell approaches therapy with the goal to enhance all dimensions of wellness, while helping clients address specific needs to enhance growth. Mitchell works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and substance abuse. His wellness approach is rooted in cognitive behavioral theory and he utilizes a wide range of therapeutic techniques to meet all clients’ unique needs. Mitchell’s primary concern is providing a personalized, safe, and collaborative space for clients to express themselves and grow.

Education

Mitchell graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He is currently in the final year of his Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s program at Georgia State University. He will graduate as a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor.

Experience

Mitchell is currently also interning at The Atlanta Mission at the men’s services site. There he works with a variety mental health concerns including substance abuse, depression, stress, anxiety, disability, trauma recovery and emotional difficulties. In his undergraduate studies Mitchell served as a wellness coach to the student population where he established his belief in pursuing wellness through counseling services.
