Alice comes to counseling as a second career, following 20 years of practice as a Family Law Attorney, Mediator, and Guardian ad Litem. Having personally experienced divorce and dual household parenting, Alice is uniquely equipped to understand the issues facing individuals and families in transition. From an experience and strengths-based perspective, Alice will work with you to identify patterns, improve communication, and increase connection in your relationships.
Alice is interested in working with individuals, families, couples, and groups across the lifespan–from adolescents through older adults experiencing major life transitions. Such transitions can include divorce, child custody changes, transitioning to college or graduate school, empty nesting, widowhood, career changes, aging, and grieving.
With her background in family law, Alice is adept at working with adults and adolescent children going through divorce either individually or together in family counseling. She also offers co-parenting counseling as well as working with blended families.
Alice is a pre-licensed professional and Master’s level intern at Georgia State University’s Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling working under the direct supervision of Tara Arnold, Ph.D., LCSW, CEDS-S, RYT-200.

Workshops are longer sessions designed to help deliver a large amount of content in a short period of time. Oftentimes, On-Demand Workshops are one-hour, while On-Going Workshops are typically are a full day. Some events are provided in class, group or workshop form and they are provided virtually or in person to deliver an intervention in a detailed and often experiential way.
Therapy options are available depending on the provider / therapist selected.
WholeHeart Psychotherapy represents a group of collaborative treatment professionals. However, each provider is an independent contractor. Note that this communication, in and of itself, is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a client-therapist relationship until a written agreement is made.
