Allison Sykora became interested in working with individuals with eating disorders when she was in college. Allison grew up in central Florida and attended the University of Florida for her Bachelor’s degree.
An amazing opportunity for her to move north emerged when she was accepted to the Emory Hospital Dietetic Internship program in Atlanta. This program allowed Allison to focus on medical nutrition therapy and work with all ages and various health conditions in an acute care setting.
After graduating from her dietetic internship, Allison accepted a position as a clinical dietitian at Emory University Hospital. It was in this position where Allison built her skills and confidence as a dietitian. She worked with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patients were provided with the best possible care. After Allison felt confident she had built a solid foundation in medical nutrition therapy, she took a step towards her passion of working with the eating disorder population.
Allison found a job opportunity at Veritas Collaborative working at the highest level of care with adolescent and young adult patients working to recover from their disordered eating. She works to provide individualized nutrition therapy with a Health at Every Size + Intuitive Eating aligned approach. Her ultimate goal is to help play a part in healing an individual’s relationship with food, while providing clients with the nutrition knowledge and support to do so.

Workshops are longer sessions designed to help deliver a large amount of content in a short period of time. Oftentimes, On-Demand Workshops are one-hour, while On-Going Workshops are typically are a full day. Some events are provided in class, group or workshop form and they are provided virtually or in person to deliver an intervention in a detailed and often experiential way.
Therapy options are available depending on the provider / therapist selected.
WholeHeart Psychotherapy represents a group of collaborative treatment professionals. However, each provider is an independent contractor. Note that this communication, in and of itself, is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a client-therapist relationship until a written agreement is made.
