Kristen Davenport, LCSW
Kristen is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Atlanta, Georgia. Kristen received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kennesaw State University in 2017 and her Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia in 2019. Kristen specializes in working with clients with eating disorders, particularly teenagers and young adults struggling with disordered eating and body image concerns. Kristen has experience also working with eating disorders at higher levels of care such as residential and partial hospitalization treatment.
With each client, Kristen takes a client-centered and strengths-based approach to highlight that individual’s unique strengths and how those strengths can be utilized to better their lives. Kristen draws heavily from dialectical-behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy in order to achieve skill building and identify individual value systems to aid in recovery and overall life satisfaction.
